As a part of one of the largest colleges of music in the US, we maintained an advising load of approximately 1,600 undergraduate music majors. While advising all undergraduates, I was primarily responsible for the academic needs of those students in the music education fields and worked closely with the Music Education Department Head and College of Music Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.

Music Teacher (percussion), Lewisville Independent School District
Working with band directors from Flower Mound High School and its feeder middle schools, I maintained a private lesson studio of approximately 50 students as well as taught section and ensemble rehearsals. My students have seen great success, either winning or placing in top positions at prestigious percussion solo and ensemble competitions, and gaining admission to premier music institutions. I was also actively involved as an adjudicator for regional contests and as a percussion arranger.
